WWDC 2007 predictions, updated
With the conference even closer, I wanted to add a couple more predictions to my initial list. Notice I didn’t edit my original list this time and won’t edit it after the conference in order to make myself look like a prophet. Basically, that’s because I’m not a tool. Anyway, here are the new predictions/hopes:
- Aluminum displays with built-in iSight cameras. They discontinued the regular external iSight for a reason, and Mac minis and Mac Pros want Photo Booth, too.
- Completely redesigned and souped-up MacBook Pro lines, maybe corresponding with the release of the 12’ MBP/MacBook mini. They re-did the MacBook, and now the MBPs have to be next.1
- X. The announcement (this one’s wishful thinking) of a cheaper, smaller iPhone model (iPhone mini/nano?) for people like me.
That’s all I got for you right now. Notice my prediction of a revamped iTunes “HD” sort of came true with the release of iTunes Plus this past week? Well, yeah, I’m sweet. Also, prediction 1a about iPhone being released at this conference has been proven wrong, seeing as Apple announced that June 29, a week after the conference ends, was the release date. Eh, close enough.

I meant to put this in the first post, but forgot. ↩︎
